Mateo is 2 Years Old…

2 Years ago today, my wonderful son Mateo Zacheeus was born.  Shortly after his birth, Mateo was was in intensive care, and shortly after that, he was in an ambulance on his way to U of M Children’s fighting for his life.

Mateo had a group B strep infection, that let to respiratory problems, Meningitis, and circulatory problems.  He spent the first 2 months of his life in the hospital.

 

Since then, Mateo has been a very happy, and healthy boy.  His smile lights up the room, he’s full of energy, and it’s hard to play with him, and not be in a better mood.

We thank God for Mateo’s life, and the lives of our friends who have impacted him.
